A loan of $1,250 helped a member buy vegetables to sell.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The Committee of Women called “Enterprising Women” is in its 1st loan cycle with the Paraguay Foundation's Enterprising Women Program. In addition to each member's independent work, they also develop activities together to collect funds to be able to have group capital to count on. At the same time, they provide mutual help to arrive at their main objective, which is to help their families.

Jacinta is one of the members. She sells vegetables, and she tells us that its going very well. She always has good sales of the high quality products she sells, in part because of her good prices. This work is the means of subsistence for Jacinta and her family, for whom she puts forth her efforts.

Jacinta is requesting a loan to buy vegetables, such as tomatoes, locotes, onions, and other types of vegetables, to resupply her stock and have more variety to offer her customers.
