A loan of $1,475 helped a member to buy baby chickens and to buy feed for them.

San Cayetano Group's story

The San Cayetano communal bank originated through promotions that the advisors made in the zone. They are 11 very hard-working and tenacious women who united in order to work together. Through this work they help each other.

They are currently in their second cycle of the program, and they wish to be able to reach the highest level through their work.

Lucila is a very hard-working and self-sacrificing woman. She tells us that she raises chickens and then sells them. Through this work she has been able to get ahead and help her family. She also covers the day to day expenses that arise.

She is requesting the loan to buy baby chickens to raise. She will also buy feed for them. This way she will be able to increase her income.
