San Miguel Arcangel Group's story

The San Miguel Arcangel group is comprised of ten women from the city of San Ignacio. They are very hard-working and tenacious people. They have seen that the Committee of Enterprising Women of the Fundación Paraguay is a tremendous help in order to be able to keep growing and helping their families.

Isidora is the president of the group. She says that she sells “chipa” (similar to bread and a very typical food in Paraguay). She goes to sell in her neighborhood every day. She says that it is exhausting work, but she really likes what she does because it is dignified and decent work. Her goal is to be able to continue growing and supporting her household.

That is why she is requesting the loan to buy corn flour, starch, butter, eggs, anise, and the rest of the ingredients that she needs to make the chipas that she sells every day.

In this group: Isidora, Blanca , María , Teofila , Teofila , Elva , Aurora , Juana , Perla , Juana
