Sokchea's Group's story

A villager of the Sa Ang district of Cambodia, Sokchea is 27 years old and single. She is a garment factory worker and she has been in this job for five years to make a living.

Sokchea has been with VisionFund for five years. The loans from VisionFund have helped her have sufficient food to eat and make a living better. Now she leads a group consisting of four female members in the village to apply for a loan from VisionFund. Sokchea will use the entire loan to buy construction materials i.e. cement, zinc, wood etc to renovate her house. She hopes this loan will enable her to have a decent and better house to live in.
