A loan of $3,100 helped a member to purchase computers.

Corali Group's story

The communal bank "Corali" will begin its first cycle with in Pro Mujer, as part of the Santiago II centre. It consists of 11 members and is managed by a board headed by Mrs. Amely. Businesses that the members bring forward are varied and among them are: trade, production, internet services, blanket weaving, cookie sales, fruit sales, food sales, perfume sales, quinoa juice sales, sale of oil for cars, shoe sales and sewing jackets.

Amely has worked with Pro Mujer for four years and became involved with the institution upon the invitation of a relative. She currently runs an Internet business that she has had for some time.

The loan she is now requesting will raise capital for the purchase of computers, which Amely will acquire from La Ceja and subsequently install them in her commercial space. Amely lives with her parents, and her business allows her to generate an income to support her family.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, Amely says that she likes the training.
