A loan of $3,100 helped a member to buy lingerie (underpants and bras).

Lucerito De José Gálvez Group's story

Isabel is a member of the “Lucerito de José Gálvez” community bank. The bank has 10 members who are all engaged in different commercial business activities. Isabel is an entrepreneurial woman who has managed to get ahead in life. She is 50 years old, lives with her partner, and has three children. She is still supporting one of her children. Isabel's business is selling lingerie. She works to order and most of her customers are people from her area. Isabel started selling this kind of product as a sales assistant. With the experience that she gained, she decided to start her own business. Thanks to her perseverance and with the aid of her partner, she has managed to buy her own plot of land and help educate her children. Isabel's goal is to re-build her home as she tells us that it is currently made from pre-fabricated materials. She requested this loan to buy underpants and bras so that she has stock to offer her customers. The “Lucerito de José Gálvez” community bank are grateful for the loan they are being given.
