Lipisa is a 41-year-old married lady with one child who runs a retail shop in Kagadi, Uganda. The business is now three years old. She started it with capital she got from farming. Price fluctuations and inflation is the major factor affecting her business. Lipisa's goal is to build a permanent home and to expand her business into new markets. She needs a loan to purchase sugar, rice, maize flour and sodas to sell. Lipisa is a member of Ageteraine Kitutu where members guarantee each other in order to access a loan.
