A loan of $1,125 helped to hire workers.

Deciderio's story

Deciderio, 42, is married to Teodora, 40, and they have two children and live in their own house located in the central village of Chuvivana in the district of Sivia. He is a farmer with a good business who, for at least seven years, has been growing cocoa and coffee. Both products have been very profitable over the last few years, especially in the overseas markets. This is why prices have increased. Thanks to his hard work and support from his loving wife, they now can enjoy the profits they have earned. With the future in mind, Deciderio knows that his physical strength will abandon him at some point as he ages, so he wants to set up a grocery store in his home. This is his second loan through MFP and he is committed to paying it back on time. He plans to use the 3,000 PEN loan to improve his farmland and hire workers.
