Floridalma's story

Floridalma, 42, is married and has three daughters who are 5, 11 and 18 years old. She lives in Brisas del Negrito, Yoro with her husband who is also a merchant.

Floridalma opened a grocery store three years ago where she sells basic staple items like corn, rice, lard, coffee, bread, spices, soft-drinks, snacks, vegetables and others. She is a very hardworking woman who tends to her customers all day. She used to work as a nanny at a Kindergarten and in order to earn better income for her daughters’ education costs she decided on this business.

She has requested a L.10,000 loan to better stock her store with foodstuffs like basic grains, bread, coffee, snacks, lard and vegetables. Her great motivation is to generate income to educate her daughters.
