Dishon's story

Dishon, a 50-year-old man, is married and has two children. He desribes himself as a focused man. For the last five years, he has been selling firewood to his neighbours and to new customers. He also practices farming, where he sells milk to add to his income. His business challenge is the policies posed by the goverment to not cut trees which results in a shortage of access to firewood.

He will use the loan of KES 10,000 to buy more trees for firewood. In the future, Dishon hopes to have had diversified his business. His long term goal is to venture into another business, running a retail shop.
