A loan of $2,300 helped a member to buy merchandise.

Triunfadoras Leales De Motupe Group's story

Rosa is 50, married, and has two children who still depend on her.

She has been with Edaprospo for ten years, and sells candy in general, such as cookies, soft drinks, lollipops, etc. She has been in this business for ten years, which she started in order to help her children get the education they need, so that they can succeed in life.

With her hard work and effort she has managed to open a business, and has been able to provide her children with a proper education.

Currently, she is allocating her income to cover expenses for food and transportation, while her husband covers the cost of water, electricity, and telephone.

Her plan for the future is to expand her business, and finish building her home.

She used her loan to buy merchandise.

Rosa belongs to the "Triunfadores Leales de Motupe" (The Loyal Winners of Motupe) communal bank, which is made up of seven people. She has been the president for one year. It was formed with the objective of each member developing themselves, and "winning" in their business and in their life. This is the reason why they gave this name to the group.

In this group: Rosa, Delicia, Cristina, Vilma Mercedes*, Victoria, Patricia, Sara Carmen
