A loan of $400 helped buy pants, shirts, blouses, and underwear.

Glenda Maricela's story

Glenda is single and lives with her parents and brothers. She sells riguas (corn patties cooked on a banana leaf), atol (cornstarch hot drink) and clothing. She has been in the business for three years, and sells her clothing in the mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and in the afternoons she sells her treats like atol and riguas from 3:00 p.m.

Glenda needs the loan to buy pants, shirts, blouses, and underwear; this loan will help her improve the business since she will have more merchandize in new fashions for her customers.

Glenda’s dreams are to keep her businesses, and grow little by little and gaining experience to be able to help her parents.
