A loan of $1,200 helped to purchase cheese, pork, flour, cabbage and tomatoes.

Maria Del Rosario's story

María lives with two children in their own house. She has a room in her house where she sells breakfast and lunch every day, and two days a week in the evenings sells pupusas (thick, corn tortillas). She started the business twenty years ago because of the need. The loan will be used to purchase the raw materials of her business such as: cheese, pork, flour, cabbage, tomatoes and other materials that will serve to prepare pupusas. Having what is needed can earn a better income and she can give her family what they need. María ‘s dream is always to maintain her business, be able to give her children an education and have a better quality of life.
