Bouko Sapali Group's story

This group is made up of 13 women who are all from the same town. The group has been jointly set up by friends and neighbors. Their main activity is small-sized trading businesses.

Fatou is 39 years old, married and mother to six children. She has been a member of the Banc Villageois since 24th April 2010 and belongs to the Bouko Sapali group, which she is also in charge of. She is standing on the left of the photo.

Fatou sells groundnut paste and palm oil, and masters her business well since she has been carrying out for a long time. Thanks to her new loan she is going to buy new stock (groundnut past and palm oil). She is going to help her husband to take care of the family by paying for the schooling of one of her children, who is currently pursuing a professional training.
