Jubbo Group's story

This group is made up of 14 women from the same village. They organized their solidarity group based on personal affinities and neighborhood ties. Their main business is retail.

Khady, age 30, is married and the mother of three children. She's been a member of the Banc Villageois since its inauguration. She's a member and the leader of solidarity group Jubbo. She's standing on the far-left in the photograph.

She sells shoes and incense. She has a good experience in her domain, due to the fact that she's been running this business for several years.

She obtained a new loan that will help her buy new supplies (shoes, incense). With her profits, she will help her husband take care of the food and school expenses of her children.

In this group: Amy, Maty, Penda, Aby, Khady, Aida, Awa, Waraba, Ndéye Maty, Selle, Yacine, Binta, Fatou, Nogoye
