Sitha, 44 is widowed, and resides with her mother and two children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. This is an area which is well known for its historical tourism sites (ancient temples: Angkor Wat, Bayon, Banteay Srey, etc). She sells food and drinks in front of the Siem Reap district hospital. This business is the only source of income to support the family. In order to generate extra income, Sitha requests a loan of USD to purchase a motorbike to use in her business. In the future, she would like to run another food store for her daughter, renew her house and send her children to a good school.
