A loan of $600 helped to purchase two big pigs and blue cornmeal.

Maria Angela's story

María lives with her husband and two children. They are independent, and she makes a living taking care of the farm where they live. She is a housewife and has been marketing pigs for ten years. She learned this trade from her parents, since they also made a living raising pigs.

Right now she is asking for a loan for the purchase of two big pigs and to buy blue cornmeal to feed them. This purchase will help her expand the farm. A few of her risks are that the pigs could get sick, or she could lose them.

She wants to continue working hard thanks to the loans. Through them she will improve the economic stability of her family.
