A loan of $750 helped to buy a variety of clothes.

Olimpia's story

Olimpia, 29, is a cheerful, hardworking woman married to Mauth, 32; they have four children and they live in their own house. Olimpia is very dedicated to her work and with this optimism decided to have a business of her own. For the last nine years she’s been selling imported clothing according to the taste of her customers and she does this with much energy because she enjoys it. For her, it’s easier to have her business near her home because she saves time to prepare breakfast and lunch for her family. What’s good about her business is that it has a good number of customers that come by on their own knowing that they will find the adequate articles of clothing. The success of her business resides in the good service and in selling her wares at affordable prices. With the loan’s support she will travel to the city of Lima to buy a variety of clothing. Later on, to increase income she plans to increase the amount of clothing to sell it in a shopping center. This will be MFP loan #10 and she commits to continue making her installment payments punctually; she hopes to have support from lenders to continue making progress. She will use the 2000 new soles to buy larger amounts of clothes to enlarge her store.
