Virginia is from the village of San Jose, Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur. She is 51 years old. Virginia is married and has three school-aged children.
To make a living, Virginia manages a coconut plantation. Virginia has been in her business for 15 years and earns 12,000 PHP a month from it.
In 2009, Virginia joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her business and living situation. Virginia is requesting a loan of 50,000 PHP, which will be used to purchase fertilizer such as manure. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the loan to improve the general living conditions of her family.

Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
