A loan of $375 helped to buy a stall to sell vegetables and also buy vegetables.

Elva's story

Elva, 36 years old, is a woman struggling with desire to excel. She is a single mother and lives with her 4 children, aged 14, 12, 10 and 7, whom she loves very much and strives to give them the best and that they lack nothing in this life. She lives in her own home. Elva's work consists of selling chickens in her own place in the local market, which she opened 2 years ago and has become known in the area. Driven by the need for income as the pension that the father of her children has did not reach them, she now has the support of her daughter who helps with the work in her spare time. What she likes about her work is that it allows her to have an income that gives her peace of mind in providing a better quality of life for her children, and it has allowed her to give them the best education because they are the inspiration for further progress. She also tells us that she plans to expand her business and put in a shop to sell vegetables. This would be her 3rd loan with the MFP institution. She feels very happy and thankful for the support she has received, for which she agrees to be punctual with her payments. With the loan requested of 1000 nuevos soles she will buy a place for her daughter for the sale of vegetables and also starting her off with products for sale.
