Saly Bambara Group's story

This Banc Villageois was created and inaugurated on December 26th 2011. It is composed of 50 women who are all from the same area. This is their first experience with CAURIE. And the solidarity of their group is a guarantee for their loans.
Fatou, on the left side of the picture, wearing a pink attire, is the representative for the Banc Villageois. She is 54, married, and a mother of 7.
She is starting a fabrics selling business in her neighborhood. She has been working in this field for a few years, which gives her a good experience.
This new 50,000 loan with CAURIE will enable her to finance her business by buying fabrics and lotion.
Her goal is to take care of her children's school fees and medical expenses.
