Aghabek's story

Aghabek is 62-years-old and lives in Tsakhkunk village in the Sevan area with his wife. Aghabek’s children are married and live separately from their parents. For a long time, Aghabek worked at a state-owned cattle farm as a farm worker.

Aghabek and his wife have been farming for over 18 years and they say they like that occupation very much. On their own farm they breed cows and calves, sheep and horses. Aghabek sells produced meat and wool from his house.

Thanks to his farming Aghabek was able to buy a truck, which he uses to deliver fodder for his farm animals. His first Kiva loan Aghabek used to buy calves and sheep for his farm. Now he is asking for an 800.000 AMD loan to buy 7 more calves for his farm.
