A loan of $3,050 helped a member to buy food and drinks for her fast food business.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

Fourteen women from the city of Encarnación have united in order to work hard together. The members saw a great opportunity in the Fundación Paraguaya’s program. Each one of them wishes to be able to get ahead, thanks to this program. They are currently in their tenth cycle, and they have worked with the Fundación since 2009.

Reina is a very enterprising woman. She demonstrates this as she has a laundry business and a well-stocked “copetín” (a fast food and drink establishment). Thanks to her effort and her untiring work, she is able to give her family the minimum in order to have a dignified and decent life without the deprivations that she had to go through.

Reina is asking for help from the Fundación and Kiva. She will buy food and drinks so that she will be able to stock her place and continue offering her customers good products.
