Gabriel Abelardo is 20 years old, married, and lives with his wife and child in the neighborhood of Campo Alegre in the canton of Ventanas.

The San Jacinto Communal Bank is located in the neighborhood of Campo Alegre, which is near the parish of Guare in the canton of Ventanas. This Communal Bank consists of short-cycle farmers who grow corn and rice.

Gabriel Abelardo is a farmer who has been growing corn and rice for two years. He learned this trade from his parents. His purchases are made at the Jiménez Commericial Center in the city of Ventanas and he sells his products in the same city. The loan he is requesting will be used to buy seeds, fertilizers, and composts for taking care of his crops. This will also help increase his family’s income. His dream is to have a house and a plot of land.
