Svetlana is an entrepreneur who lives in Novaya Kahovka. She sells clothing in a small store and in some other local markets. She has been in this business for five years and is a serious and skilled business owner. Her perseverance, combined with the lending assistance she has received, have allowed her to gradually expand her business.
Presently, Svetlana’s working capital has grown to 30,000 grivnyas and her net profit amounts to 4,000 grivnyas a month. There are many vendors and competition in clothing sales is high. However, Svetlana’s pleasant manner and willingness to meet clients’ needs have helped her keep loyal clientele. She is requesting a loan of 15,000 grivnyas to buy an assortment of clothing in bulk to sell in her store. She hopes to make additional income and improve her living conditions.
