Yao is a 35-year old man, who is married to a retailer and has two children.
He has been working as a retailer since 2008 and sells "pure water" to all types of customer in his shop. He buys his products in Lomé and works alone. His main problem at the moment is that he does not have sufficient stock to satisfy customer demand.
Yao has requested a second loan from WAGES so that he can buy a freezer and some "pure water". He wants to reinvest in his business and in the coming years he would like to expand. He says that he will ensure his family's well-being with the profits he makes.
