Angela's story

This is 37 year-old Angela K.. She is married with three children, aged 9, 13, and 15.


In 2006 Angela established a poultry business, and now requires a loan in order to purchase additional chicks to raise and sell. Raising kuku is a popular micro-business in Tanzania, especially amongst SELFINA clients. ("Kuku" means "chickens" in Swahili.)
