La Rosa Group's story

The "La Rosa" ["The Rose"] group is made up of ten women from the city of Caaguazú who are all friends and neighbors. They are part of the Entrepreneurial Women's Program of Fundación Paraguaya. The goal of these women is to improve each and every group member's quality of life. They want to give their families everything that they could not have themselves.

Monica is one of these women. She sells all types of vegetables. She comments that she has been able to develop a good clientele that always buys from her thanks to the good quality of her produce. One of Monica's goals is to have her own large location where she can offer her products. She is requesting this loan to buy tomatoes, onions, green peppers, lettuce, and other types of vegetables so that she can be well-stocked to meet her customers' demands.
