A loan of $575 helped to buy straw mats for her store.

Jenny Maria's story

At 28 years old, Jenny is a woman who makes a living selling groceries and vegetables. She currently lives in the city of Nazca, an arid and hot place known throughout the country for the amazing lines on the ground. They are made of rocks in the form of animals. As of yet they have been unable to identify their creators.

Jenny has had her own business for two years. She makes about 32 PEN each day, which allows her to take on all of the necessary costs for her baby. Her husband is a driver in the city of Nazca and this gives them some extra income so that they can give their child a better life, little by little.

Her dream is to be able to build a house and that her business continues to be profitable. She also wants to provide the best for her family. That is why, thanks to the Kiva loan, she will be able to improve a few rooms, putting in flooring. She will also buy straw mats to fix up her business, which will allow her to provide better quality service to her customers.
