Kimheat's Group's story

A rural dweller from a village located in the Tbaung Khmum district, Kimheat is 31 years old and has two dependent children who are still in school. She is a farmer and also sells groceries in front of her house to make a living. She has been in this business for several years. She currently earns US$5 per day and is able to save US$2.5 per day.

There are three members in Kimheat's group. She and Neang are the first cycled clients while Pov has been with VisionFund since 2010. Now Kimleat leads this group in applying for a loan with VisionFund. She will use the entire loan of US$300 to buy fertilizer for her farmland and also buy some grocery items e.g., shampoo, biscuits, cooking oil, etc. for her store. She hopes this loan will help her increase her business and make a better living.
