Guediouma was born around 1970 in Kambo in the Kadiolo prefecture. Father to five children he lives in a traditional family in Kadiolo (third administrative region of the republic of Mali).

He has been managing a business marketing cereals for more than five years. His experience in this domain has brought him a good reputation and he receives orders for cereals, notably corn.

In order to have the necessary resources to satisfy his clientèle, he is collaborating with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso, with whom he is on his first loan. This loan will allow him to buy 3 1/2 tons of corn. He gets his supplies in Kambo and its neighboring villages. The cereals are stored in his store. He resells them wholesale for cash to a clientèle made up of men and often transports the cereals to Sikasso as needed.

With this loan, he envisions making an average monthly profit of 70,000 FCFA. This profit will allow him to pay the interest on his loan and invest the rest in his business.

Monsieur GUEDIOUMA est né vers 1970 à KAMBO dans la préfecture de KADIOLO. Père de 5 enfants il vit dans une famille traditionnelle à KADIOLO (troisième région administrtive de la république du Mali).
Il mène les activités de commercialisation de céréales depuis plus de 5 ans. Son expérience dans ce domaine, lui a valu une bonne réputation et reçoit des commandes de céréales, notamment de maïs. Afin d’avoir les ressources nécessaires pour satisfaire sa clientèle, il collabore avec l’Institution de micro finance Soro Yiriwaso avec qui , il est à son premier prêt.
Ce prêt lui permettra d’acheter 3 tonnes et 1/2 de maïs. Il s’approvisionne à KAMBO et ses villages avoisinants. Les céréales sont stockés dans son magasin. Il les revend en gros au comptant à une clientèle composée d’hommes et souvent il les transporte à SIKASSO au besoin.
Avec ce prêt, il envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 70 000 FCFA. Ce bénéfice lui permettra de payer les intérêts de son prêt et investir le reste dans son activité.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
