Tulganoi is 53 years old, married and has four children. Her husband is a retiree just as she is. She has been obtaining financing from our organization since 2009. Tulganoi has 20 years of experience in fattening up livestock. Her sons and daughter are in Kazakhstan for work. Previously, her husband worked at their village factory and was able to provide for the family. After the breakup of the USSR, no functioning factory that could support their small population in the mountainous region remained open. Their primary source of income is buying and selling livestock and monetary transfers from Russia or Kazakhstan. Not relying on the children's help, Tulganoi and her husband breed livestock in order to have a regular income. Tulganoi plans to use this loan to purchase goats and sheep.
