Khalida's Group's story

Khalida, 44 years old, is married and has 4 sons and a daughter. Her eldest son sells samosay, a local food made of flour, and two of her children are studying. Khalida is a housewife who stays at home to carry out household responsibilities.

Khalida's husband sells peanuts. He purchases them at wholesale prices and sells them for a profit from his shop. He is a very hardworking person who works with great dedication to fulfill the needs of his family. Khalida has applied for a loan from KIVA's partner, Asasah, for her husband’s business. He will use the loan to buy peanuts in larger quantities and of better quality, which will allow him to sell for higher profits. He is very experienced and knows the ups and downs of his business very well. Khalida is confident that an investment will help him make more income for the family.
