A loan of $1,950 helped a member to purchase clothing for resale.

Ñepuaverekavo Group's story

Ñepuaverekavo is the name of this group formed in the city of Concepción, thanks to one of the members who learned about the Fundación Paraguaya’s program of women entrepreneurs. Later she told her friends and neighbors. Delighted, they decided to take up the challenge. Currently, there are 15 women in the group, who are very happy to be working together as a team.

One of the members of the group is Señora Nilsa, who tells us that she sells all types of clothing. She says that, by means of this business, she has been able to help her family and have the means necessary to better their lives. She defines herself as a hard-working fighter whose sacrifices are for her family, as she doesn’t want them to suffer any hardships.

She requests this loan for the purchase of clothing with which she will be able to stock her business, and subsequently have more variety to offer her customers.

In this group: Nilsa Elena, Maria, Genera , Celedonia , Lorenza , Ana , Aurelia , Librada , Estelvina , Filomena , Emilia , Lucia , Nilda , Liberata *, Luz *
