Afiwa's story

Afiwa is a 47-year-old woman. She is married to a service promoter. She has four children, of whom three go to school. The first-born is 28 and the last-born is 15 years old.

Afiwa has been working as a reseller since 2007. She sells notions to all types of customers in her shop. She buys her products in Lomé. She works with one other person. At the moment, she has no difficulties.

Afiwa has requested her second loan from WAGES in order to buy notions. She wants to reinvest in her business.

In the coming years, Afiwa would like to open a new shop. She says that with the profits, she plans to pay for her children's schooling.
