A loan of $2,400 helped to freshen-up the store and purchase more items to sell.

Azad's story

Azad has been the owner of a food market store for 14 years, selling fruits and vegetables, grains, canned goods and recently, dairy products. Located just meters from a busy road, with a few other small market stores besides his, for years the business has been generating sufficient income to support his family: his wife and two children.

Azad took a loan of $2,400 USD from Relief International-Iraq to renovate/freshen-up his little store and to purchase a few more items to sell, keeping up with the competition.

Azad hopes to continue providing great goods and fresh vegetables for his customers.
