Salima's story

Salima is a talented and kind woman. She is married and is a loving mother of two children. Her husband works in the local government. Salima is involved in making souvenirs and crafts according to the national style. She sews national costumes, tubeteikas (caps), suzani (embroidered textiles) and paints pictures. Salima has been embroidering suzani, tubeteikas and national costumes since childhood. She used her previous loans, received from "Imon International," to purchase raw materials in the city of Tashkent. Currently, she leases a store, where she sells her goods and opened a sewing factory. She has seven employees and four apprentices. Salima is requesting a loan in the sum of $1500 for the purchase of two sewing machines and raw materials.
