A loan of $300 helped to buy fish traps and nets.

Lucita's story

Lucita is 29 years old. She is a very hard-working, happy and friendly lady. She is single and lives comfortably with her 4 brothers and her parents in her parents’ house.

The family business sells lubricant for motorbikes and three-wheeler vans and they rent a shop space on a commercial road in her city. In addition to this she is also an agrovetinary physician and work in an agrovetinary surgery, so she has various sources of income. She has spent more than 2 years working for the family business. She likes having the business as she can watch her money grow. With her earnings, she and her parents bought a handcrafted fishing boat to add to the business. She now feels like an accomplished businesswoman and hopes to buy more boats in the future so as to expand and grow her business, thus making more money.

This will be her first loan with the MFP Field Partner. She hopes that they will help her so that she can move forward with her plans and she promises to make her repayments. She will invest the 800 new Soles that she has asked for in her fishing boat, buying fish traps and nets.
