A loan of $775 helped to buy sewing items, shoes, and more to supply her stock of products.

Catalina's story

Catalina is from the city of Caaguazú. She is 48 years old and had been married for 32 years to Pedro who is 50 years old. She has six children of which two have died. Two are married and live independently while the others live with their father.

She says that for a long time she has made a living selling all kinds of products door to door, like clothing, shoes, underwear and more. Together with her husband they go out to the neighboring cities and others that are further away. They bring their sewing materials, clothing and stationery products and make their rounds in a truck that the couple has. They have a steady clientele and make their visits weekly to deliver the orders they have.

She is requesting this loan to buy sneakers, t-shirts, blouses, nylons, underwear, towels, jeans for men and women, quilts and other items that will allow her to offer variety to her customers and be able to improve her monthly income.
