A loan of $3,325 helped a member to buy clothes for subsequent resale.

Acosta Ñu Group's story

Twenty-one women from the city of Asunción have joined together so that they can get ahead with their families through the enterprising women program. The committee is currently in its 4th cycle and they stand out for their sense of responsibility in the activities and meetings and for the desire to make progress that each one of them has.

Fátima is one of these women. She comments that thanks to her work and help from the group she’s been able to get ahead and help her family. She relates that she sells all types of clothes like t-shirts, shirts, pants and other types of clothes. She says that her dream is to be able to continue to grow and continue to help her family this way.

Fátima asks for the Fundación’s and for Kiva’s help to be able to buy summer clothes to be prepared for her customers’ orders. She is grateful for the opportunity she’s being given.
