Varuzhan's story

Varuzhan was born in 1966 in the city of Kapan. He graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, where he obtained a speciality of engineer-radio technician. Varuzhan is married and has two children - a son and a daughter. His son attends a paid division of the Yerevan Medical University, and daughter goes to a secondary school. Varuzhan spent many years working as a rescuer at the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Since 2011, he has been involved in a private entrepreneurship at a leased space, where he sells accessories (purses, school briefcases, belts, umbrellas, watches, glasses, etc.). Varuzhan buys merchandise for his store once per month at wholesale markets in Yerevan. He has many regular customers, who prefer to make their purchases specifically at his store, due to the quality of merchandise and Varuzhan's kindness. He works without days off and is able to support his family, and pay for his son's university education, thanks to the earnings from this business. Varuzhan needs a loan in the sum of 1,000,000 Armenia dram for the purchase of a large inventory of merchandise, such as purses, watches and belts, in anticipation of the New Year and Christmas holidays. These types of merchandise sell especially well as presents at the current time.
