Clemencio's story

Clemencio was born in the district of Namaacha. He is 34 years old and has one son. He and his wife live in his parents' house, and he is not financially responsible for anyone else.
He owns a business where he sells staple goods (sardines, sugar, corn flour). It has earned profits of 5,000 meticals a month, which he uses to cover household expenses. He has one employee, whom he pays 1,500 meticals a month. This is his fifth loan with Hluvuku, in the amount of 20,000 meticals, which he will use to increase the quantity of merchandise he carries. His previous loans, all for 20,000 meticals) were used to build his house. He is confident that he will be able to pay off this loan early and request more loans.
In future he intends to purchase a truck that will make his day-to-day work easier.
