Zamira's story

Zamira is 48 years old and has one daughter. She works as a seamstress at a sewing factory. In search of an additional source of income for her family, Zamira started her own poultry and animal husbandry business nine years ago. Thanks to her persistent work, her business, started with 5,000 som (KGS), yields about 8,000 som per month today from sales of meat products. The earnings from the business allowed Zamira to pay for her daughter's higher education contract. In order to further grow her business, Zamira requested a loan in the sum of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" to purchase bulls. She plans to invest the profits into a further increase of livestock headcount.
