A loan of $950 helped to buy glasses, chairs, pitchers, and other items.

Nancy's story

Nancy was born in the city of Ollantaytambo, an Incan archaeological site and the capital of the District of Ollantaytambo, Urubamba Province, in southern Peru, some 90km northeast of the city of Cusco.

She is twenty-eight-years-old and single. She went to school at an institute in Cusco for computer and information technologies. She worked as a hostess in a tourist restaurant in Ollantaytambo but due to her job performance they made her the manager. She's been working for three years and it's going very well thanks to the effort she puts into the job. She and her mother have a small family business, a bar, where they sell alcoholic drinks. Nancy needs a loan at this time to buy items for the bar, including glasses, chairs, pitchers, etc.

Nancy belongs to the "Siempre Adelante" [Always Forward] Group, which has twelve members that live and have businesses in Ollantaytambo.
