A loan of $600 helped to buy different kinds of ribbon to make bows.

Ariel Guillermo's story

Mr. Ariel is single and lives with his family in the city of La Paz. He is an artisan and makes bows for social events, birthdays and gifts. The loan is to be used as working capital to buy different kinds of ribbon to make gift bows, since the holiday season is the time of year when he has the highest sales volume because of the social events.

Ariel is 19 and determined to start his own business and open a shop where he can display his products. For the time being he only distributes to his customers on an order basis. This has been his source of income for five years. He is an enthusiastic, hard-working young man who is determined to get ahead. He is grateful to the institution for the support.
