A loan of $3,525 helped a member to buy thermoses and leather.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This group arose from a contact between one of the members and the Fundación. The group is in its third cycle and operates with the Fundación since this year. They are women who strive to the maximum to help their families through their teamwork.

One of the members of the group is Felipa. She makes and sells leather covered thermoses and also provides in-home manicure services. She tells us that thanks to her sacrifice added to her work and the help from the group she’s able to get ahead and generate income she needs to contribute to her household. Her goal is to grow as a merchant and continue to help her family this way.

She’s asking for the loan to buy thermoses to be covered and also to buy leather. She is grateful for the opportunity she’s being given.
