A loan of $1,375 helped a member to purchase clothing for resale.

San Juan Group's story

The San Juan Women's Committee is made up of 12 members, and all of them work together and support each other to start working with the Women Entrepreneur Committees Program. Their goal is to grow not only economically, but also personally.

The very moving story of Avelina, one member of the group, is that she always wanted to get into selling clothing, and she is now, thanks to the funding received from the Fundacion Paraguaya program and the motivation it gave her to work hard, she is able to accomplish her commercial dream.

She is applying for a loan to buy clothing, with which she will be able to stock up and keep up with her clients' demand. She is thankful to the foundation and to Kiva for the opportunity that they have given her.
