Ahmad is a 32-year-old Lebanese married man who lives with his wife and four children who are still attending school. He finds it really hard to cover their expenses because of the high cost of living. That’s why he decided to start his own business in 2003. He delivers diesel upon request to the neighboring villages. In parallel, he’s renting a department which he owns and benefits from its rental fees. Today, he has the intention to borrow $1800 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase an extra quantity of diesel to respond rapidly to his customers' demands. This will augment his sales therefore increase his revenues. In the future, he plans to open his own diesel station.
