Oudai is a 26-year-old Lebanese single man. He lives with his one only parent. He combines forces with his siblings who live outside the country and send a monthly amount in order to fulfill the family's needs. In 2004, Oudai started his own business as a barber and opened his own salon. He’s very glad for what he has attained so far. Today, he’s requesting to borrow $1100 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase new barbering tools and change his salon’s decoration. This will help him attract more customers and therefore increase his earnings. In the future, he plans to learn new haircut designs and improve his business.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
