Nom, 56, is widowed and resides with two children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She is a rice farmer. Additionally, she makes flat baskets to sell. Her children are employed at a garment factory. Since the factory is far away from home, Nom is requesting a loan of $1000 US to purchase a motorbike for her children to commute to work. In the future, she would like to renew her house.
